Before You Email — Quick Answers
Is the tool really client-side / private? Yes. Open DevTools → Network tab, run an audit — you’ll see zero outbound requests. Your config never leaves your browser.
Does the tool support NX-OS or IOS-XR? Not yet. It’s designed for classic IOS and IOS-XE. NX-OS and IOS-XR use different configuration languages.
Can I use the tool to audit ASA firewalls? The tool is optimized for IOS/IOS-XE router configs. ASA syntax differs significantly — results on ASA configs may be unreliable.
The audit shows a false positive. What should I do? Email us with a sanitized excerpt of the config section that triggered the false result. We’ll investigate and fix the rule if confirmed.
